2026 Iris Awards

The 2026 Iris Awards bring you an awards ceremony like no other.

Each year the community nominates women throughout the Greater Vancouver region who have gone above and beyond. Whether their contributions be professional, philanthropic, civil, or otherwise, we seek to recognize their unique and superior efforts and honor their stories and achievements through the Iris Awards.

The 2026 Iris Awards

Taking place during the lunch portion of the Inspire HER Conference on Thursday, March 12th, the Iris Awards will gather hundreds of professionals from across SW Washington. This celebration will honor the outstanding contributions of remarkable women in our community by rewarding three recipients at this year's ceremony. 

Iris Award History

Iris is the Greek word for rainbow. In Greek mythology, Iris was the goddess of the rainbow, the messenger of the Olympian gods. Her name contains a double meaning, being connected both with iris, "the rainbow," and iris, "messenger."

Iris is also associated with communication and new endeavors, both of which are exemplified by women in their public and private roles throughout Southwest Washington and beyond. The organizers of the Iris Awards note that women's lives today represent a rainbow of possibilities.
